Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Portable WiFi & Data Monitor application (herein referred to as the "App").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App and delete it from your device.
1. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on an Android device that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2. App Functionality and Permissions
To function correctly, the App requires specific Android system permissions, which you authorize the App to execute upon installation or when prompted:
Network & Hotspot Management: The App interacts with your device's native network settings (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE, and WRITE_SETTINGS) to provide a mobile hotspot, manage configuration settings, and view connection status.
Data Tracking & Visibility: The App requires access to app usage logs (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS and QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) to calculate and display the daily internet consumption breakdown of individual applications.
Background Management: The App uses a foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE along with POST_NOTIFICATIONS) to actively track your custom battery thresholds, data limits, and session timers while the App runs in the background.
3. Third-Party Services and Monetization
The App integrates third-party services provided by Google to optimize stability and display advertisements:
Advertising: The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and requires the INTERNET and AD_ID permissions to serve ads.
Analytics and Performance: The App incorporates Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Performance Monitoring) to analyze user interaction data, track app performance metrics, and diagnose software stability or crash logs.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that your interaction with these third-party integrations is subject to their respective terms of service.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. You are strictly prohibited from:
Copying, modifying, translating, adapting, or creating derivative works from the App.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract the source code of the App or its integrated SDKs.
Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices.
Using the App to distribute malware, spyware, or executing any automated requests that interfere with the integrity or performance of the App.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its original content, features, visual layout, assets, user interface design, and functionality, is owned by the developer and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied:
We do not guarantee that the local data usage tracking will perfectly align with your cellular carrier's billing cycle metrics.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure mobile network connection sharing, as hotspot performance depends entirely on your mobile device hardware, environment, and carrier provider.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developer of the App be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, network carrier overage fees, device overheating, battery deterioration, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to use the App.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When updates are made, the revised version will be uploaded to this page with a fresh effective date. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
