This Privacy Policy applies to the Portable WiFi & Data Monitor application (herein referred to as the "App"). The App is provided at no cost and is intended for use "as is."


This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our App. By choosing to use our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.


1. Information Collected and Processed Locally

To provide core network management features, the App requires specific permissions. The following data is processed strictly locally on your device and is never stored on our external servers:


App Visibility and Usage Statistics (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES & PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Used solely to calculate and display a daily breakdown of how much network data individual apps are consuming.


Wi-Fi and Network Management (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE, and WRITE_SETTINGS): Used to enable the portable hotspot feature, manage session timers, and display network provider information.


Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE with POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to maintain a persistent background service to monitor data and battery limits when the App is in the background, keeping you informed via a status notification.


Device Feedback (VIBRATE): Used strictly for haptic UI feedback during interactions.


2. Third-Party Services and Cloud Data Collection

The App integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) provided by Google to serve advertisements, optimize performance, and analyze crashes. These third parties collect and process certain data over the internet according to their own privacy policies.


A. Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.


Permissions Used: INTERNET, com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID


Data Collected: Unique identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data (taps and views). This data is used to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud.


B. Analytics and Performance (Google Firebase)

The App uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring) to understand app usage, monitor stability, and improve user experience.


Data Collected:


App Interactions: Automated events tracking screen transitions and feature usage.


Diagnostics: Crash logs, stack traces, and device performance metrics (such as app load times and battery/memory states during a crash).


Device Info: Device model, operating system version, and general network connection type.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Except for the automated transmission of data to the Google AdMob and Firebase platforms detailed in Section 2, the App does not sell, trade, rent, or manually share any user data with outside third parties.


4. Security

We value your trust in using our App. We utilize industry-standard practices and rely on secure transmission channels built into the Google SDKs to protect your diagnostic and advertising identifiers. Since all core utility operations (hotspot limits and app tracking) happen entirely on your device, your personal hardware data remains isolated.


5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information via automated SDK tracking, it will be deleted immediately from the third-party platforms.


6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
