These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the "Portable WiFi & Data Monitor" application, herein referred to as the "App."
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App and delete it from your device.
1. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a mobile device that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2. App Functionality and Permissions
To function correctly, the App requires specific Android system permissions, including the ability to view other applications' usage statistics and modify system settings related to Wi-Fi and network connectivity.
You acknowledge that the App will interact with your device's native network settings to enable the Portable Hotspot feature.
The App's "Speed Test" feature requires temporarily connecting to external servers to measure ping, download, and upload speeds.
By granting these permissions, you authorize the App to perform these specific utility functions on your device.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the App in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation. Furthermore, you agree not to:
Copy, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from the App.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from the App.
Use the App to distribute malware, spyware, or any other malicious software.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
4. Intellectual Property
The App, including its original content, features, user interface, and functionality, is owned by the developer and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App or the information and features included within it.
We do not warrant that the data usage tracking will be 100% accurate or match your carrier's billing data.
We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure mobile network connections or hotspot functionality, as this relies heavily on your device hardware and network provider.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.
Any conduct or content of any third party within the App.
Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your device settings.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data (exclusively locally on your device). Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
